What does each module do?

Invoices: the invoice module automatically generates VAT-compliant sales invoices as soon as an order comes in. You choose your own layout (logo, colors, fonts) and Winkel Factuur uploads the PDF for bol.com customers so support questions disappear. The documents are kept safe for 7 years and are exportable to UBL/CSV for accounting.

Credit Notes: for returns or corrections you create a conclusive credit invoice with one click. Numbering, references, and audit trail are always correct. Due to the direct link with the original invoice, your archive and your VAT return remain error-free.

Orders: this module synchronizes order data in real-time, including statuses (shipped, canceled, returned) and relevant amounts. As a result, the invoice module knows exactly what and when to invoice – without manual work or spreadsheets.

Customers: bundles customer data, language preferences, and document history. Customers can download their invoices themselves, you keep control over communication and retention periods. That saves support time and improves your customer experience.

PDF Templates: design professional invoice templates in your corporate identity with dynamic fields (addresses, VAT, lines). Winkel Factuur validates your template and gives a preview, so every issue is correct – also in multiple languages.

Dashboard: shows the key figures per period – revenue, VAT, statuses, and recent activity – so you immediately see what is going on. You no longer have to wait for monthly reports or manual exports.

Analytics: goes deeper with reports per store, country, category, or period. Ideal for finance and operations to understand margins, return patterns, and VAT impact. Easily export to CSV or feed through to your BI environment.

Platforms & Integrations: Winkel Factuur is basically built for bol.com. In addition, the platform connects to Amazon, Shopify, and WooCommerce, so you use one consistent method in all channels. Link your accounting (Exact, AFAS, Twinfield) to keep journal entries and VAT codes in sync. No API links needed at the front: all connections run securely via our backend.

How the modules work together

The order process starts with the orders module. As soon as an order comes in, the invoice module is activated, the KDV engine calculates the correct rate, and the PDF template service generates the document. Any returns are processed via the credit note module and synchronize directly with analytics and the dashboard.

Customer communication runs via the customers and languages module, while companies and stores modules guarantee governance and multi-label management. Finally, exports to accounting run via the UBL export module. This chain is fully audited and meets all compliance requirements.
