Providers and integrations

Winkel Factuur is built to work with the tools you already use. From email and cloud storage to accounting and monitoring: every integration follows our security and compliance principles.

Email and communication

Winkel Factuur sends transactional emails via your own SMTP, SendGrid, Postmark or Amazon SES. This maintains deliverability and branding. All emails are archived and linked to customer profiles, so support teams can see exactly what was sent.
Template versions are logged so you can demonstrate that notifications were sent in accordance with platform guidelines.

Storage and archiving

Documents are stored by default on AWS S3 with encryption-at-rest. You can link your own buckets or choose alternatives such as Azure Blob Storage or Google Cloud Storage. Winkel Factuur monitors version management and ensures documents remain available for seven years, in line with our guidelines.
For sensitive sectors there is support for private endpoints and data residency within the EU.

Accounting and ERP

Exports to Exact Online, AFAS, Twinfield and other systems are fully configurable. You link general ledger accounts and VAT codes via the UBL export module, after which Winkel Factuur automatically generates journal entries.
Thanks to the audit trail, your accountant can always trace how data was forwarded and whether mappings were changed in the meantime.

Monitoring and security

Integrations run via secure APIs with token rotation and IP whitelisting. Winkel Factuur can be linked to SIEM solutions such as Splunk or Azure Sentinel and forwards audit logs and alerts to your monitoring stack.
For developers there is a webhook framework available, so you can build custom automations without breaking the compliance structure.
